The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) has existed since 1996. It continues the mission of dedication and support of its founder in the cultural, arts, sports, health, and social care fields. Stavros Niarchos, a well-known name in the business world, has donated large amounts of money for future work and donations in these areas. The National Library of Greece (NLG) and the Greek National Opera have been permanently hosted in the new complex of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation's Cultural Center (SNFCC) since 2018. All programs in the Cultural Center are free of charge for the visitors.
