Abstract

According to the previously unused archival material, this paper reconstructs the establishment and work of the Library of the Presidency of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) from 1946 until the end of 1952. After the establishment of the Presidency of the SFRY as a separate authority in January 1953, this library was disbanded and since then it cannot be regarded as a special library.
