Abstract

The development of measures to improve the quality of services in libraries is an essential prerequisite for satisfying the needs of their users, as well as the needs of teaching staff and students. The main objective of this work is to analyze the quality of services in the libraries at the University of Niš. Special attention is devoted to the creation and development of libraries at the University of Niš, as well as the analysis of types of services provided to users. In order to analyze the quality of library services, a questionnaire survey was conducted at 12 faculties of the University of Niš, from April to July 2014. The results of the survey can be important to the providers of library services and contribute to a more successful satisfaction of users’ needs.
