Analysis of Materials for the Bibliography of Monographs on Librarianship Published in Serbia From 2010 to 2022

Abstract

The paper analyses the publishing activities in Serbian librarianship and related disciplines from 2010 to 2022. The analysis includes monographs available in the electronic catalogue of the National Library of Serbia and the union catalogue COBIB.SR. The data on the number of published titles by year of publication, the languages represented, the number of translations, the publishers, and publication places are presented. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the covered topics. The largest thematic groups – “Bibliographies, cataloguesˮ and “Librarianshipˮ – are analysed in more detail. All statistical data are compared with the results of a previously published analysis conducted by Ana Savić for the period 1974–2009.
