Building a Bridge Between Bulgarian and Serbian Culture over a Fifty-Year Period

The paper presents basic information about the journal of literature, art, science and social issues in Bulgarian language Most, which was published by the publishing and press institution "Bratstvo" in the period from 1965 to 2012. During forty-seven years of its existence, a total of 220 issues of the journal were published. Apart from the artistic and scientific papers of the members of Bulgarian minority in Yugoslavia and Serbia, the poetic and prose works of contemporary Bulgarian and Serbian writers, popular scientific and publicist texts were also published. This journal is of exceptional importance for all Bulgarian culture researchers in Serbia, because it provides important information on the cultural development of this minority group, primarily in the cities like Dimitrovgrad and Bosilegrad, but also presents the importance of a Bulgarian minority in connecting Serbian and Bulgarian culture in its widest sense.
