Open Access Education: The Most Popular Educational Resources in the Library of the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade

Open access is a concept which changes the way we exchange and access information and knowledge. Open access increases the flow and visibility of knowledge and provides open educational content to everyone willing to learn. One of the possibilities that the New Age gives us is the opportunity of free education over the internet, thanks to open access educational resources. Available resources are intended for users of different educational levels. The conceptual and time frame for the development of open education is defined in this study. An overview of the most popular free online educational courses which are held by internationally acclaimed professors and experts from different fields are provided. In order to attend the courses, all you need is a computer, internet and some free time. How important and significant open access is for the education of each individual, as well as the users of the library at the Faculty of mathematics in Belgrade will be disclosed in this study
